Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking experienced Gate & Barrier Engineers to join its Southeast team. The role focuses on commercial automatic gates, barriers, access control systems, and related infrastructure.

You will install, retrofit, commission, and hand over projects,while performing fault finding and preventative maintenance. Ideal candidates have strong installation experience, can read technical drawings, and operate effectively within a team.

Qualifications

• CSCS card required.
• Gate Safe Certified.
• DHF Automated Gate Training.
• HSG47 awareness of underground services.
• IPAF and ECS/Access Control qualifications desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install automatic gates and barriers.
• Retrofit automation onto existing gates.
• Handle large plug-and-play commercial installations.
• Perform fault finding and reactive call-outs.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Conduct civils works including excavation, ducting and bases.
