Morson Edge in the Southeast is recruiting experienced Gate & Barrier Engineers to join its busy team. The role focuses on commercial automatic gates, barriers, access control systems and related infrastructure.

You will install, retrofit and commission systems, perform fault finding and reactive call-outs, and undertake planned maintenance and civils works. It suits self-sufficient professionals who work well in a team and have relevant industry experience.

Qualifications

• Experience installing automatic gates and barriers.
• Ability to read technical drawings and perform site surveys.
• Comfort with civil works related to installations.

Responsibilities

• Install automatic gates and barriers on commercial sites.
• Retrofit automation onto existing gates and perform commissioning.
• Read drawings, survey sites and handover to clients.
• Fault finding and reactive call-outs; planned preventative maintenance.
• Manage civils works such as excavation, ducting, bases and service installation.
• Work with access control systems when required.
