Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust in the United Kingdom is seeking a Gastroenterology consultant to join our busy department. The role emphasises maintaining high standards of patient care, delivering endoscopy and clinic services, and contributing to CPD and clinical governance.

You will share responsibility for daily departmental management, participate in the Trust's governance activities and be involved in ensuring timely service delivery to meet national and local targets.

• Maintenance of the highest standards in the care of patients with Gastroenterology conditions
• To share with colleagues responsibility for the day to day management of our Gastroenterology Department
• To actively participate in both departmental and Trust matters concerning Clinical Governance and Audit
• To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
• Flexibility of duties is expected i.e. assisting with emergency endoscopy.
• The post holders will also contribute to the out-of-hours endoscopy rota.
• The post holders will provide service work to maintain endoscopy and clinic waits to comply with national and local targets
