Overview

Gas Tutor - Bordesley Green - Immediate Start

Monarch Education are currently recruiting for a skilled and dedicated Gas Tutor to join a respected training provider based in Bordesley Green, Birmingham. This is a full-time position (36 hours per week), working Monday to Thursday (7.5 hours/day) and Friday (6 hours), with an immediate start available.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced gas professional with a passion for teaching and mentoring to support learners in gaining industry-recognised qualifications. You will be responsible for delivering City & Guilds/NVQ Gas courses up to Level 3, covering both theory and practical elements.

The training centre is well-equipped and committed to providing high-quality vocational education, helping learners develop the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the gas industry.

Responsibilities
  • Delivering engaging and informative gas training sessions (theory and practical)
  • Supporting learners through assessments and portfolio development
  • Ensuring course content meets awarding body standards
  • Monitoring learner progress and providing constructive feedback
  • Maintaining a safe and well-managed workshop environment
  • Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement
What we’re looking for
  • Proven experience in the gas industry
  • Teaching or assessing experience (or willingness to work towards relevant qualifications)
  • Strong knowledge of City & Guilds/NVQ Gas curriculum up to Level 3
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • A supportive and professional approach to working with learners
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
