Job summary

Siemens Energy in Lincoln is seeking a Performance Engineer to assess, predict and improve the performance of Small Gas Turbine products. You will support production pass-off testing, development testing and site performance predictions while developing performance analysis tools.

The role requires strong maths, physics and data analysis skills, with training provided in gas turbine performance. You will work with Sales, Manufacturing, Engineering and Customer Support teams.

Qualifications

• Masters-level qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assess engine performance and validate test results.
• Predict site performance for Small Gas Turbine products.
• Carry out thermodynamic calculations and refine models.
• Analyse large technical datasets and apply statistics.
• Develop and enhance performance assessment tools and software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to communicate findings.
