Job summary

Thermatic Technical FM is seeking a Technical Estimator (GAS) to join the Minor Works Team in Salford. You will create technical quotations from Field Engineer Job Reports and provide guidance to ensure smooth contract management and delivery.

The role emphasizes commercial awareness, technical knowledge of GAS/building services, and a commitment to safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Basic GAS technical/building services knowledge.
• Commercial awareness and ability to interpret technical drawings and specs.
• Health and safety knowledge applicable to construction and services work.

Responsibilities

• Create technical quotations and assessments.
• Assist Business Development in tender pricing with time-to-service calculations.
• Review engineers' Job Cards to ensure correct client solutions.
• Support with responses to information requests internally and externally.
• Drive Minor Works through existing processes to ensure delivery and timely completion.
