Job summary

VIVID is seeking a Gas Supervisor to lead and develop a team of gas engineers across Hampshire. The role combines office, home-based, and site visits, with a focus on ensuring high standards, right-first-time work, and effective HR practices.

You’ll monitor safety, QA checks, and performance metrics, manage budgets and timelines, and mentor engineers. A full UK driving licence and relevant CCN1/CENWAT/CKR1/HTR1 are required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Gas Engineers to deliver first-class repairs and customer care
• Monitor work in progress to ensure compliance with standards, safety, and customer satisfaction
• Carry out post-inspections to verify quality, safety, and correct use of materials
• Manage responsive repairs within set budgets and timelines
• Promote a high-performing, customer focused team culture
• Ensure cost-effective decisions aligned with Best Value principles
• Support preventative maintenance programmes and contract implementation
• Review contractor invoices and resolve discrepancies
• Investigate complaints and insurance claims, providing detailed reports and resolutions
• Maintain communication with planners to ensure efficient scheduling
• Promote continual improvement and participate in service reviews
• Represent and promote VIVID’s vision and values in all aspects of the role
• Provide monitoring data to management and uphold good housekeeping standards
• Respond to tenant and customer enquiries professionally
• Participate in the on-call rota
