Job summary

Plymouth Community Homes is seeking a Gas Servicing & Breakdown Engineer to ensure safe, warm and well-maintained homes across Plymouth. The role covers gas servicing, safety inspections, fault diagnosis and corrective repairs, with opportunities to develop technical expertise daily.

You'll participate in a rotating out-of-hours emergency service, possess ACS qualifications (CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1) or equivalent, and drive a company van.

Qualifications

• Current ACS qualifications including: CCN1, CPA1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1 or recognised equivalent qualifications.
• Proven experience in a gas servicing, breakdown or maintenance role.
• Good knowledge of gas safety legislation and Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out domestic landlord gas safety inspections and servicing.
• Diagnosing and repairing gas and heating system faults.
• Conducting inspections and identifying corrective works.
