Job Title: Gas Service Engineer

Venn Group has been approached by a Housing Contractor in Greater Manchester to recruit for a Gas Service Engineer on a temporary to permanent basis.

As the successful candidate, you will have experience working as a Gas Service Engineer within Social Housing.

The duties will include:

1. Complete 8-12 services a day of boilers and gas appliances
2. Issue CP12 certificates
3. Complete minor repair works
4. Report/complete works using your PDA
5. Be flexible in working with a wide range of customers, adapting to their needs and schedules
6. Adhere to strict health and safety procedures

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

1. ACS qualifications: CCN1, HTR1, CKR1, CENWAT
2. NVQ Level 3 ONLY in Plumbing and Heating. A level 2 will not be accepted.
3. A full UK driving license
4. A solid understanding of gas legislation and regulations
5. Strong knowledge of Health & Safety practices and working to best standards
