Job summary

Redmore Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Safe Engineer and Plumber to join its team in South Wales. The role covers surveys, fault diagnosis, first and second fix plumbing, boilers and central heating, and bathroom/kitchen refurbishments across insured and domestic projects.

The candidate must hold current Gas Safe registration, have proven plumbing/heating experience, and be able to travel within South Wales.

Qualifications

• Current Gas Safe registration and ACS qualifications plus a recognised plumbing or domestic heating qualification
• Proven experience in domestic plumbing and heating, including boiler installation, servicing and repair
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South Wales
• Ability to work on gas work within current registration categories and comply with regulations

Responsibilities

• Attend occupied or vacant properties to undertake plumbing, heating and gas surveys and diagnose faults
• Carry out first and second fix plumbing installations and pressure-test pipework
• Install, service and commission domestic boilers and heating systems within Gas Safe categories
• Complete bathroom and kitchen installations and remedial works
• Carry out general plumbing repairs and multi-skilled duties
• Test, certify and handover completed installations with proper documentation
• Support Gas Safe registration compliance and maintain records
