Job summary

Redmore Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Domestic Gas Safe registered engineer and plumber for South Wales-based refurbishment and reinstatement projects. You will inspect, diagnose and repair gas and plumbing systems in occupied and vacant properties, covering boiler work, bathrooms, kitchens and multi-skilled duties.

The role requires a current Gas Safe registration, a UK driving licence and the ability to travel across South Wales.

Qualifications

• Current Gas Safe registration and a valid Gas Safe ID.
• Proven experience in domestic plumbing and heating incl. boiler installation, servicing and repair.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across South Wales.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications and relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Attend occupied and vacant properties in South Wales to survey plumbing, heating and gas systems.
• Carry out first and second fix plumbing and installation of heating pipework.
• Install, service and commission domestic boilers and heating systems within Gas Safe scope.
• Ensure compliance with gas safety regulations and complete documentation and handover.
• Support Gas Safe registration and compliance processes for the business.
