Job summary

HomeServe is seeking a Gas Repair Engineer to diagnose and repair gas appliances in customers’ homes, ensuring safe, efficient heating and hot water. You’ll work independently, manage multiple jobs, and uphold high customer service standards.

The role is field-based with varying daily tasks, offering overtime opportunities, a generous pension, and 33 days holiday. Training starts at day one, with ongoing development and a guaranteed first-year bonus.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing gas appliances and central heating systems.
• Full UK driving licence (max 6 penalty points).
• Ability to work independently and solve problems on site.
• A positive, proactive approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems.
• Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water.
• Carrying out boiler services.
• Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service.
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care.
