Job summary

HomeServe UK is hiring a Gas Repair Engineer to diagnose and repair gas appliances and heating systems in customers’ homes. You’ll work in a field-based role with autonomy and strong customer service expectations.

The position offers a 40-hour week, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with a salary of £46,250 plus a £1,500 guaranteed first-year bonus. Training and equipment are provided to support your success.

Qualifications

• Gas qualifications CCN1, CENWAT1, HTR1 and CKR1 required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosing faults on boilers and central heating systems
• Carrying out repairs to restore heating and hot water
• Carrying out boiler services
• Completing safety checks and ensuring compliance with regulations
• Managing jobs independently while delivering excellent customer service
• Representing HomeServe in customers’ homes with professionalism and care
