Job summary

Wales & West Utilities Limited is seeking an Operative to join the Build & Repair team. Working under supervision, you will carry out repairs to the gas network mains and services, attend emergencies and complete all new customer connections work.

The role contributes to the delivery of Replacement and Capital programmes, with training provided and direction from a Team Leader and First Line Manager.

Qualifications

• You will be trained to an appropriate standard to carry out duties allocated.
• You will receive direction from a Team Leader and First Line Manager.
• You will work on repairs, emergencies and new customer connections.

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs to gas network mains and services and attend emergencies.
• Complete all new customer connections work and support replacement and capital programmes.
• Work under supervision with structured learning and development.
