Job summary

Together Housing Group is seeking two Gas Installation Technicians to install, replace and commission domestic gas boilers, central heating and hot water systems across North and West Yorkshire in both tenanted and vacant properties. Prospective candidates should hold ACS accreditations (CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1, UDHW) and a City & Guilds Gas Maintenance NVQ Level 3, with a valid UK driving license.

Qualifications

• Experience working with domestic gas boilers and central heating systems.
• Knowledge of Gas Safe regulations and safety practices.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to read job tickets.

Responsibilities

• Install, replace and commission domestic gas boilers and heating systems.
• Carry out full heating system installations per manufacturers' instructions and regulations.
• Install and test Y Plan/S Plan heating controls and solar thermal integration.
• Alter pipework and gas supplies for new installations.
• Commission systems and complete certification documentation.
• Balance systems, perform performance checks and handovers.
• Interpret drawings and schedules to meet standards and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with Gas Safe, Building Regulations and safety policies.
• Report defects or safety concerns and document work accurately.
• Collaborate with colleagues and other teams to ensure right-first-time installations.
• Carry out risk assessments and safeguard residents and colleagues.

Education

City and Guilds Craft Certificate in Gas Maintenance (NVQ Level 3)

ACS accreditations: CCN1, CENWAT1, CKR1, HTR1, CPA1, UDHW
