Job summary

PH Jones is hiring a Gas Installation Surveying Engineer to cover Burton-on-Trent and surrounding areas. You will survey gas boilers, unvented hot water, and wet central heating systems, coordinating between admin and engineers while ensuring high customer service standards.

Requirements include ACS CKR1 and HTR1, a valid driving licence, and experience in heating design. The role offers a fully costed van, fuel card, and a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid in date driving licence with no more than 6 points.
• Hold a valid ACS qualification including CKR1 and HTR1.
• Experience with Heating System Design and Install.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive approach to change and willingness to learn new skills.
• Ability to work to challenging targets and timescales.
• Clear, confident and professional communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Survey gas boilers for changes and full central heating installations.
• Survey within void properties and assess appliances on initial visit.
• Coordinate work schedules between admin and engineers.
• Liaise with clients to ensure void works meet SLAs and maintain customer service.
• Support area manager to maintain performance and manpower resources.
• Provide technical guidance to customers on improving energy efficiency.
