Job summary

Example Recruitment is seeking a heating engineer for central heating installs across Essex. Must commit to a minimum of 3 days per week, with up to 5 days and optional weekends. Ongoing contract with weekly pay. Full PPE and kit provided, access to full rate card on request.

Eligibility includes ACS Qualifications, Gas Safe Registration, owning a van, and having a Powerflush machine with related tools. Positions suited to experienced engineers looking for long-term work.

Qualifications

• 2 years of qualified experience as a heating engineer
• ACS Qualifications
• Gas Safe Registered
• Own van
• Powerflush machine & relevant hand tools
• Access ladders to reach gutter level, an A-frame, and hop up that conforms to BS EN 131 standards

Responsibilities

• Install central heating systems including swaps, upgrades and conversions
• Cover work across Essex as required
• Ensure jobs are pre-surveyed and booked in
• Provide PPE and kit for site work

Job description

Location: Essex

Work Type: Central heating installs including swaps, upgrades, and conversions.

Commitment: Minimum of set 3 days per week. Up to 5 days available plus optional weekends.

Contract Length: Ongoing (no end date)

Payment terms: Weekly one week in arrears.

Rates:

• Combi swap: £301 core rate plus extras
• Conventional swap: £311 core rate plus extras
• Conventional to Combi Conversion: £328 core rate plus extras.
• New Combi System: £494 core plus extras
• all extras such as pipework, radiators, TRV's, flues etc are paid in addition to the core job price. A full rate card containing a full schedule of rates can be provided
