Beyond Housing Limited in Dormanstown, Redcar, is seeking a gas heating engineer to join our team. You will carry out repairs and maintenance on heating systems in occupied and void properties, diagnose faults and deliver first-time fixes where possible.

You will need ACS Gas qualifications and NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating, a full UK driving licence, and a good understanding of health and safety. The role may involve mentoring an apprentice.

Competenze

• Experience with repairing and maintaining domestic heating systems.
• Ability to fault-find and diagnose complex repairs.
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and safe working practices.

Mansioni

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on plumbing and heating systems in occupied and void properties.
• Diagnose and resolve faults relating to boilers, central heating, hot water cylinders, radiators, pipework, taps and drainage.
• Install and replace plumbing and heating components as required.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance and servicing of heating systems.
