Job summary

Service Care is recruiting an experienced Gas Engineer to join our team covering properties across North Somerset. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas works within residential properties, ensuring compliance with gas safety regulations.

The role requires current domestic gas qualifications and a clean UK driving licence, with strong communication and organisation skills to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Current domestic gas qualifications including CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, WAT1 and CEN.
• City & Guilds or NVQ qualification in relevant field.
• Proven understanding of gas safety and health & safety legislation.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and customer-facing experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out gas servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding within domestic properties.
• Diagnose and resolve faults on domestic gas appliances and heating systems.
• Ensure all works comply with current gas safety regulations and health & safety legislation.
• Maintain accurate records and complete relevant documentation.
• Deliver excellent customer service to residents.
• Work independently and manage workloads effectively.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality gas works within residential properties, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with current gas safety regulations.

• Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Confident using digital systems and technology.

• Previous experience working within social housing or housing associations.
