Job summary

CBRE Local UK is recruiting a Gas Engineer to join the Global Workplace Solutions team. The role involves maintenance and reactive repairs on gas equipment and on-site plant, ensuring gas certification is up to date and statutory inspections are completed.

You will oversee annual maintenance across the site network, work on large commercial boilers and direct-fired AHUs when required, and maintain a professional image while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CEN1, COCN1, CCCN1, CIGA1, CDGA, CIGA, COMCAT certifications required or preferred.
• 5-10 years experience in a similar gas engineer role.
• Experience with large commercial boilers is essential.
• Experience on direct-fired AHUs is desirable.
• Ability to communicate at all levels and maintain professional appearance.

Responsibilities

• Completing Statutory inspection of gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Complete reactive repairs on gas appliances on site and associated plant
• Overseeing Annual maintenance of Gas Network across the group
• Annual auditing of Gas maintenance of all site venues on contract
• Ensure all gas certification is up to date
• Assist on other jobs within skill set around site as needed
• Ensure a professional image of CBRE is presented to clients and visitors, and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
• Ensure that professional and technical skills are maintained through a commitment to personal development and life-long-learning.

• Ability to communicate at all levels
• Organised and disciplined approach to work giving careful attention to detail
• Computer literate - Word, Excel
