Job summary
Mears Group is seeking a skilled Gas Engineer (Installations) to cover Evesham and surrounding areas, performing installations, servicing, repairs and safety inspections across domestic social housing. You will diagnose faults, maintain records, and liaise with tenants and housing staff to ensure compliance and high safety standards.
The role requires ACS certifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CKR1, HTR1), City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance, a full UK driving licence, and your
Qualifications
- Gas installations, servicing and repairs across domestic gas appliances.
- Knowledge of gas safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Carry out gas installations, servicing and repairs of domestic appliances.
- Diagnose faults and complete remedial works.
- Undertake landlord gas safety inspections and issue CP12 certificates.
- Ensure all work complies with gas regulations and internal procedures.
- Respond to emergency call-outs and out-of-hours work when required.
- Record completed work using handheld devices and job management systems.
