Job summary

Sureserve is recruiting for a field-based gas service and maintenance technician in the Manchester region. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance and deliver a high standard of workmanship with excellent customer service at every visit.

Responsibilities include servicing domestic properties across the region, maintaining strong client and tenant relations, and ensuring timely, accurate paperwork is completed both electronically and manually.

Qualifications

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants

Salary: £35,875 - £45,000 (with £45,000 being the average of OTE inc. callout)

Location: Manchester coveringM1, M11, M12, M13, M14, M15, M16, M18, M19, M34, M43 areas

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: 40

Working pattern: Monday to Friday with on-call requirements

Holiday entitlement : 20 + Bank Holidays (increases with service)

About the role
