Job summary

British Gas is seeking a Gas Engineer for Heating Installation based in Plymouth. You will join a team of Gas Engineers to install and service heating systems, ensuring high-quality customer support. Training is provided for Air Source Heat Pump installations as part of our Net Zero initiative.

The role offers a base salary of £45,806 with an uncapped OTE through a field reward scheme, plus a £10,000 sign-on bonus to support your transition.

Qualifications

• Current ACS qualifications (CCN1 and CENWAT) or equivalent in plumbing or heating.
• Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on various heating systems.

Responsibilities

• Install and service gas heating systems for customers.
• Assist with Air Source Heat Pump installations and participate in upskilling for Net Zero initiatives.

About your role

We need Heating Installation engineers to join our team of experienced Gas Engineers, to ensure that our customers get the help they need, when they need it. Being there for our customers is our priority.

As we continue to grow our Net Zero offering, you'll also support Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) installations, with relevant training and upskilling provided to support your development.

Base Salary is £45,806 with uncapped OTE through our fantastic field reward scheme.

Here's what we're looking for

• A natural dedicated focus on providing outstanding customer experience on every visit.
• Current ACS qualifications (CCN1 and CENWAT) or equivalent in plumbing or heating.
• 3 year's qualified experience behind you of full system installations.
• Electrical knowledge, including wiring and fault finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers.
