Gas Engineer Domestic Service and Breakdown 42-47k salary, Typical earnings 50-55k. VW van, large company benefits. Based NW, W, SL, occasional GU. Interview and start ASAP.

Domestic Gas Engineers are required for a large housing maintenance specialist with extensive work in NW, W, SL, GU areas. Suitable candidates must be competent with breakdown and servicing on all domestic gas boilers.

All engineers in the team are required to cover callouts. This is 1 day per week, every week, on a rolling basis, including weekends.

Out of hours are 24 hours, but after 10 pm, callouts are only for major water leaks. These are paid at 40 for incomplete jobs and 50 for completed jobs. Overtime is paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate, including travel to the job and time to complete.

There are also opportunities for training and development. Suitable gas engineers must hold domestic ACS qualifications for CENWAT, CCN, CKR, HTR. Qualifications in ASHP, OFTEC, or LPG are also desirable and can increase the salary banding offered but are not essential. Please apply online with your updated CV.
