Sureserve Group PLC in the United Kingdom seeks a Gas Maintenance Technician to ensure heating and hot water systems operate safely and efficiently in domestic properties. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs, and perform planned maintenance while delivering high workmanship and excellent customer service at every visit.

Based in Chelmsford with coverage across CM, CO, and IP postcodes, the role is permanent, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with on-call requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1) required.
• Valid UK driving licence required.
• Experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity.
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Professional and friendly attitude fostering good relationships with clients and tenants.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance works on domestic properties across the region.
• Maintain high levels of customer care with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
• Communicate progress and complete paperwork electronically and manually.
