Job summary

Sureserve in Crewe is seeking a skilled gas service engineer to diagnose faults, carry out repairs and planned maintenance on domestic heating systems, ensuring safety and efficiency. You will deliver high workmanship and strong customer service on every visit.

Requirements include CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1, a valid UK driving licence, and hands-on domestic gas experience. The role is permanent, 40 hours per week with on-call duties and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications with CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential).
• Valid UK driving licence (essential).
• Experience in gas maintenance within a domestic setting and knowledge of gas safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance on domestic heating systems across the region.
• Ensure high levels of customer care and maintain quality standards during visits.
• Communicate updates, progress, and complete required paperwork digitally and manually.
