Derby Homes is seeking a permanent gas engineer to service and repair domestic gas appliances. The role is based in Derby City, with a supplied van, fuel card and tools. Gas Safe registration and ACS qualifications are essential.

The Gas Team works to service and repair appliances, with access to hard-to-reach homes and materials ordered via PDA technology. Applicants will join a dedicated team, enjoy local government pension benefits, flexible working, and a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Gas Safe registration required
• ACS qualifications for domestic gas installation
• Experience as a gas engineer

Responsabilités

• Carry out annual servicing of gas appliances
• Carry out breakdown repairs to gas appliances to first-fix standard
• Gain access to difficult-to-access properties
• Take jobs and order materials through the supply chain using PDA technology
