Job summary

Zenith is seeking an experienced Gas Installation Engineer to join our UK team on a permanent basis. You will install domestic boilers and heating systems, ensuring compliance with current gas safety regulations and industry standards in occupied homes.

Responsibilities include documenting installations, testing and commissioning, resolving issues, and maintaining high safety standards while delivering a customer-focused service. DBS may be required.

Qualifications

• Gas installation experience in domestic properties is required.
• ACS gas qualifications must be held.
• Knowledge of gas safety regulations and industry best practices.

Zenith are proud to be working with one of the UK's leading energy suppliers who are looking for experienced Gas Installation Engineers to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job description:

• Install domestic gas boilers, heating systems, and associated equipment
• Carry out installations in accordance with current gas safety regulations and industry standards
• Complete all relevant installation documentation and certification accurately
• Conduct system testing and commissioning following installation
• Diagnose and resolve installation-related issues where required
• Maintain high standards of health and safety at all times
• Deliver a professional and customer-focused service within occupied residential properties

Person Specification:

• Proven experience as a Gas Install Engineer within domestic properties
• Demonstrable installation experience with domestic heating systems and gas appliances
• Hold relevant ACS gas qualifications
• Strong understanding of gas safety regulations and industry best practice
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must hold a full UK driving licence
• Must hold a valid right to work in the UK.
• Electrical knowledge essential, including wiring and fault-finding on S-plan, Y-plan and combination systems and boilers.
• Must be willing to do a DBS.
