Job summary

Example Recruitment Group Ltd is recruiting self-employed Gas Engineers for long-term boiler installation work across Lancs, Pennines and Aire Valley. Part-time options (min 3 days) with a consistent workload are available, with local work planned within a 1-hour radius from your home.

Typical duties include boiler installations, swaps and system upgrades, with materials fully supplied and delivered to site.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified heating engineer
• Gas Safe Registration and ACS qualifications
• Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser and Powerflush experience

Responsibilities

• Install boilers and perform system upgrades/conversions
• Carry out boiler installations and swaps on customer sites
• Travel within the defined 1-hour radius from home address

Job description

Example Recruitment Group Ltd is partnering with a leading national heating contractor to recruit experienced, self-employed Gas Engineers for long-term installation work across the Lancs, Pennines and Aire Valley area.

They can offer part-time (min 3 days per commitment) opportunities with a consistent workload.

What’s on Offer

• Earnings: approx. £350.00 per day (price-work based)
• All jobs pre-surveyed
• Local work planned in within a 1-hour radius from home address
• Materials: fully supplied and delivered to site
• Work Type: boiler installations, including swaps and system upgrades/conversions
• Wiring: completed by a qualified electrician
• Waste/Scrap: collected from site
• Contract Length: ongoing
• Payment: weekly pay (one week in hand)

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience as a qualified heating engineer
• Van with bulkhead (plain or sign-written)
• Gas Safe Registration
• In-date ACS Qualifications
• Calibrated Flue Gas Analyser
• Powerflush Machine
• Access ladders to reach gutter level, an A-frame, and hop up that conforms to BS EN 131 standards.
• £2m public Liability Insurance
• No unspent criminal convictions (DBS Check to be carried out as part of onboarding)
