Job summary

Sureserve Compliance North West is recruiting a gas engineer to service and maintain heating and hot water systems across the Manchester region. You will diagnose faults, carry out repairs and planned maintenance while delivering high workmanship and excellent customer service at every visit.

Applicants must hold CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 qualifications, possess a valid UK driving licence and have domestic gas maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 gas qualifications required (essential).
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards.
• Previous practical experience in domestic gas maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region.
• Ensure high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet quality standards.
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing paperwork electronically and manually.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes. You'll diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance, and provide a high standard of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service at every visit.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually
  Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
