Job summary

Sureserve Compliance North West is hiring a domestic gas engineer to ensure heating and hot water systems operate safely, efficiently and reliably in customers' homes.

You will diagnose faults, complete repairs, and perform planned maintenance with high workmanship and strong customer service on every visit. Applicants must have CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1 and CKR1 essential qualifications.
• Valid UK driving licence a must.
• Experience in domestic gas maintenance and understanding of gas safety regs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out service and maintenance works on domestic gas systems across the region.
• Diagnose faults, complete repairs and carry out planned maintenance to high standards.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain documentation both electronically and on paper.

Job description

Responsible for ensuring heating and hot water systems are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, helping customers stay comfortable in their homes. You'll diagnose faults, complete repairs, carry out planned maintenance, and provide a high standard of workmanship while delivering excellent customer service at every visit.

What you'll be doing

• Carry out service and maintenance works on a variety of domestic properties across the region
• Ensuring high levels of customer care in dealing with clients and tenants to meet the required quality standards
• Communicate updates and progress of work, completing the required paperwork electronically and manually
  Valid domestic and/or commercial gas qualifications. As a minimum, successful candidates must have the following: CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1 (essential)
• Valid UK driving licence (essential)
• Previous practical experience in gas maintenance within a domestic capacity
• Solid understanding of gas safety regulations and industry standards
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
• A professional and friendly attitude with the ability to forge strong relationships with both clients and tenants
