Job summary

Rock Recruitment is partnering with an established social housing contractor to hire a skilled Gas Breakdown Engineer for a West London site. You will diagnose and repair domestic gas boiler breakdowns, carry out fault finding and component replacements, and service radiators and central heating systems as required.

The ideal candidate holds Full Domestic ACS, has proven domestic gas breakdown experience, and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must have Full Domestic ACS and proven domestic gas breakdown/repairs experience.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Good knowledge of central heating systems.
• Experience with all aspects of heating systems, not just boilers.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic gas boiler breakdowns.
• Conduct boiler fault finding and component replacements.
• Work on radiators, radiator valves and central heating systems.
• Diagnose and replace pumps and motorised valves.
• Carry out general plumbing and heating repairs when required.

Location: West London
Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience) w/ Van and Fuel Card

Our client, an established social housing contractor, is looking for an experienced Gas Breakdown Engineer to join their team.

This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer with strong domestic breakdown experience who is confident diagnosing and repairing a wide range of heating systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing and repairing domestic gas boiler breakdowns
• Carrying out boiler fault finding and component replacements
• Working on radiators, radiator valves and central heating systems
• Diagnosing and replacing pumps and motorised valves
• Carrying out general plumbing and heating repairs where required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in domestic gas breakdown and repairs
