Job summary

MNM Property Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to cover London and surrounding areas, performing domestic gas safety inspections and CP12s, along with general plumbing maintenance and repairs.

The role requires Gas Safe qualifications (CCN1/CENWAT), a valid Gas Safe ID, and previous gas engineering experience. A full UK driving licence is essential, with a focus on safe, high-quality service in occupied properties.

Qualifications

• Current domestic Gas Safe qualifications and a valid Gas Safe Register ID.
• ACS qualifications CCN1 and CENWAT (or equivalent) are required.
• Previous experience as a Gas Engineer in domestic settings.
• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills, especially in occupied properties.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out domestic gas safety inspections and completing CP12 certificates.
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic gas appliances.
• Diagnosing faults and performing repairs safely and efficiently.
• Undertaking general domestic plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Completing job reports, certificates and other required documentation accurately.
• Communicating professionally with residents, clients and office staff.

• Looking after the company vehicle, equipment and materials provided.

Pay: £17.00-£21.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

About The Role

MNM Property Services Ltd is looking for an experienced and qualified Gas Engineer to join our growing team.

The successful candidate will work across London and the surrounding areas, carrying out domestic gas safety inspections and issuing Landlord Gas Safety Records (CP12s), alongside general plumbing maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out domestic gas safety inspections and completing CP12 certificates
• Servicing, maintaining and repairing domestic gas appliances
• Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely and efficiently
• Undertaking general domestic plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Completing job reports, certificates and other required documentation accurately
• Communicating professionally with residents, clients and office staff
• Following Gas Safe, health and safety, and company procedures
• Looking after the company vehicle, equipment and materials provided

Essential Requirements

• Current domestic Gas Safe qualifications and a valid Gas Safe Register ID card
• Relevant ACS qualifications, including CCN1 and CENWAT or equivalent
• Previous experience working as a Gas Engineer
• Good knowledge of domestic plumbing maintenance and repairs
• Full UK manual driving licence
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Professional, reliable and able to work independently
• Good customer-service skills and confidence working in occupied properties
• Right to work in the UK
