Role Overview

The primary responsibility of the Gas Engineer is to maintain and repair heating systems in our clients' properties. They will ensure that heating and hot water systems operate efficiently and safely, completing repairs promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Perform service and maintenance on domestic properties across the region.
2. Maintain high standards of customer care with clients and tenants.
3. Update clients and team on work progress, completing paperwork electronically and manually.
4. Adhere to all Health and Safety legislation, including Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work, and COSHH Records.
5. Manage stock ordering and auditing procedures to ensure parts availability.

Attributes & Requirements

1. Essential gas qualifications, including CCN1, CENWAT, HTR1, CKR1.
2. Availability for Out of Hours evening and weekend work on a rota basis.
3. A friendly and professional attitude to foster strong relationships with clients and tenants.
4. Successful completion of criminal and reference checks prior to employment.
