Job summary

Calor Gas Ltd. is looking for an Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cylinder gas distribution site in Spilsby.

The ideal candidate will lead a team of drivers and administrative staff, ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and drive continuous improvement in operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, familiarity with transport management, and a passion for operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in people management or leadership roles, ideally in logistics.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations and employment legislation.
• Confident in using IT systems and software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage performance of site staff, including drivers and administrators.
• Execute delivery schedules to maximise efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and internal safety policies.
• Oversee cylinder stock and cash reconciliation.
• Promote training and development plans for staff.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities.
