Job summary

VIVO Defence Services, a Defence facilities partner, is seeking a Gas Responsible Person to lead gas safety across a national portfolio. You will ensure compliant operation of natural gas, LPG and related systems while upholding DIO requirements and corporate policies.

You will coordinate inspections, maintenance programmes and safety audits, advise on risk-based decisions, and support design and commissioning of gas systems. Some travel and on-call duties apply.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing gas compliance across large property, infrastructure or facilities management portfolios.
• Knowledge of Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations and related standards.
• Willingness to work towards professional accreditation and ongoing gas safety training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee gas compliance across the estate including inspections, servicing and preventive maintenance programmes.
• Provide expert technical guidance on gas infrastructure and safety governance.
• Lead audits, risk assessments and incidents investigations with corrective actions.
