Job Description:

Our client is an established ladieswear brand dedicated to offering exclusive styles at an affordable price. They are seeking a Garment Technologist to support their team throughout all stages of product development. This role involves performing various technical, investigative, and quality control tasks to ensure the final products meet all specifications.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing workbooks, specifications, and grading rules for garments
• Leading fit sessions with the design team and providing fit solutions for various body types
• Collaborating with production to establish AQLs for suppliers
• Reviewing AQL reports and overseeing the measurement, review, and approval of samples
• Addressing styles with quality control or fit issues and making adjustments to reduce returns
• Coordinating with suppliers to ensure critical path deadlines are met

You should have experience with Adobe Illustrator, as you’ll be assisting the design team in creating tech packs temporarily. We seek an organized individual capable of implementing new procedures to enhance business efficiency. A strong background in multi-category womenswear, including fits, fabrics, and grading, is essential. Experience working with UK and Far East suppliers and factories is also required.
