Job Description:

ME+EM London is a rapidly growing modern luxury fashion label with stores in London, Edinburgh, US stores in Manhattan, SoHo, East Hampton & Dallas, and a successful digital presence. We are looking for an Assistant Garment Technologist to support our Garment Technology Team by managing administration tasks throughout the production process, working closely with designers, manufacturers, and production teams to ensure quality, fit, and production standards are met and delivery dates are maintained.

Responsibilities:

1. Ensure proto, fit, and Gold Seals meet specifications and brand standards.
2. Support the team with fit comments, specifications, amendments, and size charts, communicating clearly with the supply base.
3. Experience with PLM systems is advantageous.
4. Ensure test reports are available for all materials at the proto stage.
5. Coordinate bulk and garment testing, considering quality and costs.
6. Conduct wearer trials for new fabrics or high-risk styles and respond accordingly.

Additional Tasks:

1. Visit warehouses regularly to monitor quality and manufacture, perform AQL inspections.
2. Visit stores to review product quality and trends.
3. Review quality reports and take appropriate actions.
4. Coordinate fit reviews per season to ensure consistency.
5. Prioritize workload according to schedules and critical paths.
6. Maintain professional relationships with office, store, warehouse, and supply base teams.
7. Maintain organized workstation and department filing.
