Tagged Resources Ltd seeks an experienced Garment Technologist to drive sizing accuracy, fit, and quality across mens and ladies wovens and jersey. You will manage the department, coordinate samples, and work with Buyers and suppliers to ensure products meet company specifications.

The role requires five years in Garment Technology, strong Excel skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach. Hybrid working is offered with a flexible culture and industry opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in Garment Technology or similar role.
• A passion for Garment Technology and drive to improve fit and quality.
• Strong communication skills to maintain relationships with departments and suppliers.
• Proficient in Excel and data analysis for fit and quality.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail in sizing, quality and packaging specifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day to day running of the department.
• Create fully graded size specifications and garment sketches with key details.
• Manage intake of samples and prepare them for fit meetings.
• Fit on live models with Buyers; provide comments to suppliers.
• Oversee sealing process from initial fit to production and postproduction.
• Specify care label information and packaging details.
• Analyse test reports and recommend actions for failures.
• Liaise with Distribution Centre Quality Control team.
• Analyse returns for improvements to fit, quality and performance.
• Support Customer Services and Retail stores with technical queries.

The Company

A fantastic opportunity to work for an ambitious British clothing retailer .They are currently recruiting experienced Garment Technologists - Hybrid across mens and ladies wovens and jersey to ensure that all products accurately match company specification in terms of sizing and quality and provide a consistent quality and fit the customer base.

You will have bundles of passion and energy to work within the Garment technology department to contribute to successfully driving product ranges.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day to day running of the department
• Creating fully graded size specifications and garment sketches of products including key details
• Manage the intake of samples and prepare samples for the fit meetings
• Fitting on live models with the Buyers, providing concise fit and quality amendment comments to the suppliers
• Managing all products through the sealing process from initial fit to production and postproduction.
• Specifying care label information and all packaging details
• Instigating/analysing test reports, with recommended actions for test results not meeting the companies standards.
• Regular liaison with our Distribution Centre Quality Control team
• Analysing returns information of products, making suggestions for improvements to fit, quality and performance.
• Supporting Customer Services and Retail stores with any technical queries

The Successful Candidate will:

• Work experience in the industry and at least five years' experience within a Garment Technology role
• Enthusiasm and determination, with a passion for Garment Technology
• Team spirit and a positive attitude
• Confidence in communicating, in order to maintain a strong working relationship with all departments and suppliers
• Strong MS Office Excel skills
• A Self Starter approach to the role with the ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail
• Coral Draw/Adobe illustrator skills (desirable but not essential)
