Job Description:

A clothing supplier is seeking a Garment Technologist to join their team based in their Manchester head office. You will be responsible for developing new own brand offerings across womenswear to achieve maximising sales and profit.

Some additional duties will include:

• Managing all sample stages, including measuring & providing comments on own brand samples across all categories, ensuring completion within the required CP timeframes.
• Ensuring the brand quality and fit standards are achieved.
• Providing team support to ensure the successful completion of delivery priorities across the department.
• Managing the critical path to maintain smooth development processes and production schedules.
• Supporting the department in supplier communication, record keeping, filing, sample movement, and storage.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A relevant fashion or textile degree (preferred but not essential).
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise and influence at all levels.
• The ability to manage a varied workload with conflicting and tight deadlines.
• High commercial and customer awareness.
• Strong numerical skills with data analysis ability.
• Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
