Job summary

Oundle School in Oundle is seeking a Grounds and Gardens operative to join our team. You will undertake preparation and maintenance duties under the supervision of a supervisor to provide first-class sports facilities and amenity areas.

Hours are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with a 30-minute paid break and a 30-minute unpaid break each day (40 paid hours per week). Seasonal overtime may be required on a rota basis, including evenings and weekends. Salary: £26,438.

Job description

Oundle School is spread throughout the historic town of Oundle, and owns and maintains extensive grounds, gardens, and sports surfaces, which are fully used throughout the year. As part of the Grounds and Gardens team, you will undertake preparation and maintenance duties under the control of a supervisor to provide first-class sports facilities and amenity areas., Hours of duty are 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday to Friday with one 30-minute paid meal break and one 30-minute unpaid meal break daily (40 paid hours per week). The role involves seasonal overtime requirements which will be based on a rota and may include evening and weekend work.
