Job description

We have an opportunity for a full-time gardener within our Horticulture Team.

Job Responsibilities

You will work with our grounds team to ensure the highest standards of grounds maintenance within the Borough of Guildford.

Requirements

• Physical fitness and an aptitude for outdoor work
• Interest in gardening and eagerness to learn on the job
• Knowledge and experience in horticulture
• Valid UK driving license to operate Council vehicles
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and possibly overtime

Working Hours

Summer: 41 hours/week; Winter: 29 hours/week, Monday to Friday, with potential for weekend, evening, and early start work.
