A leading care home is seeking a dedicated gardener to maintain its gardens. The role involves caring for lawns, flowerbeds, and advising on gardening improvements. This part-time position offers flexible hours and various benefits to support employee wellbeing.
St Mary's Care Home, 19 Dunstable Road, Luton, LU1 1BE
Part Time Permanent Contract - 5 hours per week
£12.25 - £13.25 per hour dependent on experience
About the role
You will be responsible for the upkeep and care of the home’s gardens
Your key duties will include maintaining lawns, looking after flowerbeds, borders and hedges, weeding and pruning our shrubs and small trees
You will advise the Home Manager on potential gardening issues and help to plan areas that require improvement
Occasionally, you will assist the Maintenance team with other ad hoc duties in and around the home.
