Job summary

T H White Group in Knighton is recruiting a Garden Machinery Technician to join the Service team. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the role covers service and maintenance of garden machinery, including brands such as Husqvarna, Stihl and Kress, with product training provided.

Hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4:30pm. Benefits include generous holiday, annual pay reviews, a good pension, life assurance, staff discounts, and opportunities for career development across the group.

Qualifications

• Experience with garden machinery
• Knowledge of 4-stroke and 2-stroke engines
• Diagnostic experience with small engines
• Interest in robotic mower technology
• Team player with a proactive attitude
• Self-motivated and adaptable to seasonal workloads
• Clean UK driving licence is desirable for collections/deliveries

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance on a diverse range of garden machinery
• Service and maintenance on ATV/UTV
• Occasional collection and delivery of equipment
• Maintain good working practices
• Assist with other duties to keep the department running smoothly

Engine knowledge (4-stroke/2-stroke)
