Job summary

British Garden Centres in Exeter is seeking a friendly Part-Time Cleaner to join our busy customer-focused centre. Your main duties include cleaning and maintaining the toilet blocks, hoovering and mopping main centre floors, and ensuring high cleanliness standards.

Early morning shifts with weekend work are required. You will work as part of a team, stay reliable under pressure, and help provide a welcoming environment for customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning or retail environments preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning and maintaining customer & staff communal areas including Garden centre, customer toilets, office spaces.
• Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
• Customer service.
• Be responsible for cleaning materials and stock.
• Re-order cleaning stock when required.

We are currently looking for a Team member to work in our fast paced and very customer focused Centre. The successful candidates will be highly motivated, approachable and have excellent people skills with a positive “can do” attitude plus a keen eye for detail.

As our Part-Time Cleaners working in the Garden Centre. Your main duties will be the cleaning and maintenance of the toilet blocks and the hoovering and mopping of the main centre floors.

Early morning hours preferred, must be able to work weekends

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Cleaning and maintaining customer & staff communal area’s including Garden centre, customer toilets office spaces.
• Ensuring all areas are cleaned to a high standard.
