Job summary

Hillier Nurseries Limited is hiring a friendly Garden Centre Assistant (Food & Beverage) to join our team at Hillier Garden Centre, Newbury. You'll work in our Restaurant and Coffee Shop, serving food and drinks, making hot beverages, and delivering excellent customer service.

This permanent, part-time role is 30 hours per week on a rota, with some weekend work and flexible hours during peak periods. Benefits include a 50% discount on the restaurant menu, 31 days leave pro rata, free on-site

Qualifications

• Friendly attitude and good customer service skills.
• Team player who works well in a busy environment.
• Flexible and willing to support different areas of the business.
• Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving food and drinks in the restaurant and coffee shop.
• Making hot beverages, including coffee and tea.
• Handling customer queries and payments with a smile.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Clearing and cleaning customer areas and replenishing stock.
