Job summary

The Range in Edinburgh is seeking a motivated team member for a busy garden and home department. You will deliver friendly, proactive customer service, help customers find ideal products, and stay flexible to support other areas when needed.

Experience with plants or garden care is preferred, and a positive attitude to fast-paced retail is essential. You will be responsible for keeping stock available, presenting best sellers, and maintaining high housekeeping standards across the department.

• Ensure stock is available across all ranges.
• Ensure smooth transition of range changes to minimise disruption.
• Ensure the department is correctly priced across all products.
• Ensure live plants are correctly watered and cared for
• Adhere to, and correctly implement shop floor processes, policies, and procedures.
• Adhere to, and correctly implement reduced and waste processes.
• High standards of housekeeping across the department.

Your day will be varied, from delivering service with a smile at the till to engaging with customers to help them find their ideal products.

You will need to have to have a flexible approach as there will be times when you will be supporting other areas of the Store to meet the business needs.

Previous experience working with plants and garden care is preferred.
