Job summary

Greenfingers Charity is seeking Garden Ambassadors to support in your local hospice garden projects. You will maintain and care for garden spaces, coordinating with hospice staff and volunteers to ensure spaces remain welcoming and usable for families and carers.

The role suits hands-on gardeners with transport, public liability insurance, and a DBS check, and offers the chance to contribute to therapeutic, magical garden spaces across the UK.

Qualifications

• Practical hands-on Garden Maintenance experience.
• Own Transport & Full Driving Licence.
• Public Liability Insurance.
• DBS Check.
• Ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Guide garden design to maturity, aligned with the design spirit.
• Liaise with hospice teams to coordinate care for the garden.
• Build trust and relationships with Hospice Garden Volunteers.
• Provide support and guidance to hospice volunteers as appropriate.
• Provide monthly status reports highlighting issues and recommending solutions.
