Job summary

Cranleigh School invites applicants for a fixed-term Gap Assistant role from January 2027 for two terms. This is not a live-in position; you will support teachers, supervise boarders after school, assist with co-curricular activities, and help with the smooth running of academic and pastoral life.

Qualifications

• Recent graduates or gap year participants sought.
• Adaptable, eager to learn and passionate about supporting young people.
• Experience with sports or co-curricular activities a plus.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Support: Assist various academic departments and contribute to the daily learning environment.
• Pastoral Care: Support the Head of Boarding by supervising and delivering engaging activities for boarders outside of school hours.
• Co-Curricular Focus: Play a crucial role in sports and co-curricular activities, utilising your skills and interests.
• Operational Support: Undertake general duties that contribute to the positive and safe running of the school environment.
