Job description

Working as part of our dedicated Residential Team under the leadership of the Head of Boarding, Graduate Assistants play an important role in school life, supporting pupils in the classroom, on the games field and within the Boarding Houses. You will work closely with the Residential Team to build positive relationships with pupils, support their day-to-day needs and help create a happy, safe and welcoming boarding environment.

We are looking for individuals who are caring, enthusiastic and resilient, with a real zest for life and a commitment to working collaboratively as part of a team.

In return, we offer a rewarding and enriching environment in which to work and live, with opportunities to gain valuable experience across school and boarding life. Single accommodation will be provided within the Boarding House, where you will become an integral part of the residential community. Meals are provided free of charge during term time.

Ideally, applicants will have their own transport and a genuine enthusiasm for sport, whether through playing, coaching or previous experience working with young people in a sporting environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate who is looking to develop their experience of working with children, gain an insight into the life of a busy boarding school and become part of a supportive and vibrant community. Whether you are considering a future career in teaching, education, sport, pastoral care or another area, the role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills, discover new interests and gain valuable experience in a dynamic school environment.
